You will be part of our Pape North Connect project, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects.
About the Job
We are hiring a Project Reporting Analyst to step into an existing role, on our Project Controls team, on the Pape North Connect project. This position reports to the Project Controls Lead.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Work closely with the Project Controls Lead to ensure smooth operations and adherence to project goals.
- Execute layout tasks with precision, efficiency, and accuracy, maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Collect, verify, and consolidate Weekly daily monthly input from all project departments (Engineering, Construction, Commercial, Procurement, Quality, Safety, Schedule).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, schedule performance, risks, change events, and deliverables.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data from systems across the project ensuring information accuracy, alignment with contract requirements, and consistency across teams.
- Prepare the full weekly and Monthly Report,
including narrative sections on progress, critical issues, risks, mitigations, and plans for the upcoming month.
- Identify data inconsistencies, trends, and deviations; collaborate with departments to address reporting gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Support all meetings that project control lead requires, by preparing agendas, compiling change‑request forms, logging changes, and distributing minutes.
- Ensure timely incorporation of client comments and revisions from previous reporting cycles.
- Support contract‑related analysis by understanding key contractual obligations, deliverables, cost and schedule milestones.
- Maintain transparent, well‑structured reporting processes aligned with project governance requirements.
- Quantify all aspects of the project, including progress and key metrics. If required data is missing or cannot be measured directly, actively gather it from the appropriate departments
What We Are Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional membership with RICS, CIQS, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects.
- Proven experience working on international projects or for major contractors such as Webuild or joint ventures.
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or bespoke forms).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in cost management software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Compensation
Successful candidates chosen for this position can expect to earn between $95,000-$115,000. The exact salary you will earn within this range is dependent on the specific project to which you are assigned.
