As a Nursing Specialist, you will play a vital role in the Family and Community Health division. Your responsibilities include delivering practice leadership, supporting continuous quality improvement, and collaborating with partners nationally and internationally. You'll also facilitate knowledge exchange and professional development for public health nurses, ensuring effective implementation of the Nurse-Family Partnership model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for NFP nursing practice
• Act as a consultant for nursing practice issues
• Plan provincial NFP quality improvement programs
• Facilitate communication among implementing agencies
• Deliver educational curriculum and career development
Requirements:
• BScN and Master’s in related health discipline
• Three years of public health nursing experience
• Two years of NFP program delivery experience
• Expertise in program planning and evaluation
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license required
