Transform workplace safety as an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator. Lead the implementation of safety plans and ensure compliance while advancing the organization’s safety culture.
This full-time role requires collaboration with the Human Resources Manager to enhance health and safety practices throughout the organization. You will facilitate the development of individual department safety plans aimed at reducing incidents and promoting a secure environment for all staff. Your expertise in regulatory matters will be core to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and implement health and safety plans
• Collaborate with departments for safety plan development
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local regulations

Requirements:
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant coordinator experience
• Certification as Canadian Registered Safety Skilled favorable
• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC and Technical Safety BC regulations
• Knowledge of public sector safety practices
