Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune (phone hidden) companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently searching for a Avaya Aura - Level 2 Support Engineer for our IT Consulting client to work on a long term project with a major transportation company.
Type: 6 month contract to start but this will be a long term project with projected extensions
Rate Range: $70 - $90/hr C2C
Location: onsite - client is based in Etobicoke, ON

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Avaya Aura - Level 2 Support Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Level 2 Support Engineer, you will provide technical support and troubleshooting for Avaya Aura products and solutions. You will work closely with our clients to identify and resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Avaya Aura products and solutions
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with Level 1 support team to elevate and resolve complex issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for resolution and prevention of future issues
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions
- Conduct system testing and provide feedback to development team for product improvements
- Document and maintain support processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Avaya Aura products and solutions and provide training to clients and team members as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support for Avaya Aura products
- Avaya Aura certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, and System Manager
- Experience with SIP, H.323, and other VoIP protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Must be able to work on-site in Etobicoke, ON, Canada
This is a contractor position with a duration of 6 months, with possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
The position is based in Etobicoke, ON, Canada and requires the candidate to work in office during regular business hours.
