Lead capital project initiatives as a qualified Engineer. Oversee budget preparations, expenditure tracking, and multidisciplinary project coordination within a full-time position.
In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and prioritization of the Capital Budget and Plan for water management. You'll participate in project delivery, monitoring expenses, and providing technical expertise across various teams. Ensuring adherence to financial impacts and quality standards is key to the role’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and prioritize capital expenditure budgets
• Control project expenditures within approved limitations
• Prepare construction cost estimates accurately




• Represent the Manager in regulatory and committee meetings
• Conduct technical problem investigations and analyses
Requirements:
• Must hold a P.Eng. designation in Ontario
• Experience in project cost estimates and public infrastructure
• Proficiency in MS Office and ArcGIS tools
• Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Knowledge of water resources regulations is preferred
Effectively manage and support capital planning projects to ensure the successful delivery of water infrastructure initiatives.
