What You’ll Do
- Administer group benefits and retirement programs (Life, Disability, Health, Dental, HCSA, RRSP/DPSP).
- Provide headcount, demographic, and termination data to vendors.
- Conduct pension and benefit data audits, ensuring resolution and proper filing.
- Manage tickets, escalations, and exceptions in collaboration with partnering teams.
- Maintain accurate associate‑facing documents, policies, offer letters, and vendor guides.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Workday and related systems; manage change requests, testing, and partner communication.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance the associate experience; manage benefit education and communications.
- Participate in benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive offerings.
- Assist with planning, testing, audits,
and communications for projects such as Open Enrollment, Renewals, Overage Dependent Campaigns, Vacation Trade, Bonus Allocation, and union negotiations.
- Support education and engagement campaigns for targeted strategic goals.
- Participate in strategic projects as required.
About You
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in benefits and retirement.
- Post‑secondary education; working toward the CEBS designation is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Canadian pension and benefits programs and related legislation.
- Working knowledge of group benefits and retirement program administration, including the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
- Strong collaboration, influencing, and partnering skills; ability to prioritize urgency and communicate effectively across teams.
- Solid data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clarity in writing.
- Project support skills: maintain detailed plans, understand and apply principles of project control, and track program delivery progress.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint); experience with Adobe products is an asset.
Additional Information
Candidates aged 18 and over will undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
Salary Range: $61,582.50‑$86,215.50 per year. This range reflects the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position.
Location: CAN Home Office Mississauga, ON.
