Construction Project Manager, Institutional Construction, Healthcare and University Projects, GTA & South Western Ontario!

We are partnering with a leading General Contractor in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in institutional construction, healthcare construction, and university or campus development.

This is a high-impact role leading technically complex projects including hospitals, healthcare facilities, long term care, pharmaceutical labs, veterinary clinics, and university buildings. These projects are heavy in mechanical and electrical systems and require a sharp, detail-oriented leader who thrives in challenging environments.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead construction projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Manage healthcare construction and institutional construction projects across the GTHA
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and risk management
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, architects, and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes, healthcare standards, and safety regulations
- Drive project performance across complex MEP systems

Qualifications:

- 10 plus years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience in institutional construction, healthcare construction, or complex commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP)
- Experience managing new build construction projects up to 40M in Canada
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture,



or related field
- Solid understanding of contracts, cost control, and project financials
- Designations such as P.Eng, Gold Seal, CET, or LEED AP are considered robust assets
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, and Excel
