In this senior technical leadership role, you will collaborate with Project Managers and Operations teams to oversee projects from build to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Your expertise will involve leading software programming, electrical debugging, and supporting installation phases for current machines, contributing to high-performance automation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead programming and debugging for automated machinery
• Verify I/O wiring and electrical circuits for compliance
• Modify PLC programs and develop offline machine functions
• Collaborate with wiring teams to resolve issues
• Travel to customer sites for installation support
Requirements:
• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in electrical automation and industrial machinery
• Knowledge of packaging machinery is a strong asset
• Solid AutoCAD Electrical skills required
• Understand Ontario safety standards and regulations
