Lead health and safety initiatives as a Supervisor, promoting workplace safety and compliance. Develop a high-performing team while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
In this role, you will directly support the Manager in implementing effective safety programs tailored to operational needs. You’ll mentor a team of Safety Coordinators and Emergency Response personnel to achieve strategic health and safety objectives. Ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a culture of safety leadership and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and coordinate safety training and audits
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform regular inspections and report findings
• Support site departments in health and safety compliance
• Mentor the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety an asset
• At least five years’ experience supervising safety teams
• Familiarity with risk assessments and effectiveness reviews
• CRSP designation preferred
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent
