We are currently seeking a person to fill a part-time daytime Personal Support Worker position. ** Completed AP/RPA training or DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home **

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: 6/14 day shift, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations




- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- PDSP training
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
- Law 90
