The Chance
Build the future of Rail & Transit infrastructure in Canada. Based in Toronto, this opportunity places you at the centre of complex rail and transit station projects, supporting the mechanical systems that keep cities moving safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You will contribute to the design and delivery of transit facilities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across some of Canada’s most visible infrastructure programs.
WSP is a recognized leader in Rail & Transit engineering, supporting major station, tunnel, and systems projects across Canada and globally.
Your Impact
- Support mechanical design development for stations and transit facilities, including HVAC, plumbing & drainage, fire protection, controls & monitoring, and hoisting systems.
- Coordinate mechanical systems and interfaces with civil, structural, architectural, electrical disciplines.
- Assist with requirements verification & validation, and system integration.
- Conduct construction inspection and contribute to testing, commissioning, and operations & maintenance.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience supporting mechanical systems on rail, transit, underground, or large infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of mechanical design codes, standards, and public transit authority requirements.
- Exposure to multidisciplinary coordination within complex project environments.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 – $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 – $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $89,200 – $118,500
