Results-driven Manufacturing Engineer specializing in cycle time studies, process validation, and production optimization within CNC environments. Experienced in supporting projects from concept through handoff, including start-ups, test cuts, and technical support.
Lead detailed time studies and cycle time estimates for new and existing production components, capacity planning, and process efficiency. Perform and support first-off prove-outs, and process validation to optimize tooling, feeds and speeds, machine utilization, and overall throughput.
Program 3- and 5-axis CNC applications using Mastercam (or related software), while developing CAD models, fixtures, gauges, and process documentation.
Maintain electronic process records to ensure quality and repeatability.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot machine issues, refine machining strategies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical support and training, ensuring smooth start-ups, optimized cycle times, and sustainable production performance.
Robust communicator with the ability to support automation requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance productivity and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.
