Human Resources Coordinator 1.0 FTE Temporary – June 2026 to December 2027. Salary range: $77,400 – $96,751 per year. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources and Assistant Manager of Human Resources, the incumbent will implement the Board’s recruitment plan, represent the school board at recruitment events, support the staffing process for all employee groups, coordinate practicums and placements, and promote the Simcoe County District School Board as an employer of choice. The Coordinator will provide leadership, consultation, and training related to recruitment and hiring processes and support the Senior Manager and Assistant Manager in collaborative departmental projects. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, personable, and capable of working independently and as a team member in a sensitive and confidential environment. Testing Testing may be required during the selection process. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Three (3) year college diploma or university degree in human resources or a related field Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in staffing and/or recruitment CHRP designation would be an asset Experience in project management and process development Experience ensuring duty‑to‑accommodate compliance related to the recruitment and hiring process Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, and other applicable legislation, regulations, and guidelines Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and conflict‑resolution skills Highly developed interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills Demonstrated effective coordination, organizational, and planning skills Excellent analytical and research skills; attention to detail andaccuracy; ability to managemultiple priorities, meet timelines,



and maintain confidentiality Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team Excellent computer skills including experience with data‑management systems, HRIS systems, and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Experience working in the broader public sector in a multi‑unionized environment Flexibility to work outside regular hours and/or an altered workday to accommodate position requirements Reliable transportation required Position requires travel within an assigned district; mileage reimbursement at the Board approved rate Benefits The role is a 12‑month position with a 35‑hour work week. Participation in the OMERS Pension Plan is mandatory for all full‑time permanent employees, even if currently receiving an OMERS pension.
