The Vice President, Admissions is responsible for shaping and executing strategic enrollment, sales, and marketing initiatives that drive student growth, elevate brand presence, and strengthen community engagement. This role provides leadership across admissions, financial aid, the admissions support center, and marketing functions, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration across the organization.

As a key member of the executive team, the Vice President, Admissions plays a critical role in delivering sustainable, profitable growth across all campuses, including online and remote learning programs. This individual is accountable for optimizing the student recruitment lifecycle, enhancing conversion performance, and ensuring the institution consistently meets its enrollment and revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Execution

- Develop and implement enrollment, sales, and marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Set and manage enrollment targets, budgets, and forecasts in partnership with Finance
- Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to drive results

Leadership

- Lead, coach, and scale high-performing teams across Admissions, Marketing, and Financial Aid
- Establish a performance-driven culture with explicit accountability
- Build leadership capability through training and succession planning

Enrollment & Marketing Performance

- Oversee the full student recruitment funnel, from inquiry to enrollment
- Partner with Marketing to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and pipeline growth
- Implement strategies to improve conversion rates and student diversity

Operations & Student Experience





- Standardize and optimize admissions processes across all campuses
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality, and compliant student experience
- Resolve escalated issues and continuously improve systems and tools

External Engagement

- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform strategy
- Build relationships with community partners and employers to support enrollment and outcomes

Financial & Compliance Oversight

- Drive profitability across campuses, managing budgets and expenses
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations and student funding requirements
- Maintain ethical admissions practices

Reporting & Governance

- Provide regular performance reporting, forecasts, and strategic insights to executive leadership
- Track progress against priorities and KPIs

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of current business and management practices and customer service issues.

• Knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and financial statements.

• Knowledge of post-secondary education sector.

• Knowledge of international education and Canadian study permit and immigration pathways.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, other Microsoft products and the Internet.

• Knowledge of government regulatory climate of education.

• Strong ability to manage the needs of several different stakeholders.

• A self-driven individual with the ability to work independently to meet company goals.

Work Experience:

• 10+ years of sales management experience.

• 5+ years of senior executive leadership experience.

• Experience in education or similar industry is preferred.
