Job Summary

EMCO Corporation is hiring full‑time Management Development Program Trainees. This full‑time salaried position offers a base salary of $52,500 plus profit sharing. Successful candidates may need to relocate within Canada and will receive relocation assistance.

The Role

As a Management Trainee, you will progress through four phases to learn every aspect of our business, from shipping and receiving to counter sales, operations management, and employee development. You will build a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance and mentorship from current managers across Canada.

Program Outline

- Phase 1 (12 months): Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and gain hands‑on experience in logistics, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing controls, credit management, and financial statements.
- Phase 2 (12 months): Customer Relationships and Procurement – Manage customer service issues, large‑scale projects, and vendor relationships; read blueprint drawings and create quotes for materials.
- Phase 3 (15–18 months): Account Management and Proactive Sales – Develop business opportunities, lead sales, negotiate contracts, expand the customer base, and establish high‑level partnerships.
- Phase 4 (3 months): Leadership and Operations – Provide strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and run the business through coaching, mentoring, and vision setting.

Qualifications

- University degree or college diploma – all disciplines of study will be considered.
- Positive attitude and results‑oriented mindset.
- Desire to continuously learn and grow.
- Excellent leadership,



customer service and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and high standard of integrity.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Robust interest in sales.
- Valid driver’s license.
