Job Description

As Manager, Finance, you will play a central role in overseeing the accounting, finance, and compliance functions as we grow. This includes managing day-to-day accounting operations, periodic and annual reporting requirements, and ad-hoc requests.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with impeccable attention to detail who is comfortable working in a small team,



while working on multiple initiatives in a results-based environment. The ideal candidate will have foundational accounting knowledge with 3+ years of experience.

Who You'll Work With

As a member of our finance team, you will work alongside CVW Sustainable Royalties’ Executive team and report directly to the Company’s Chief Financial Officer. You will ideally be based in our Toronto office with a flexible work philosophy.

What You'll Do

Play an integral role as part of the CVW Sustainable Royalties finance team and contribute to a variety of initiatives, including:

- Prepare and review the quarterly financial statements, MD&A;, and other reporting documents;
- Manage the preparation and updating of financial models compliant with IFRS financial instrument standards;
- Manage the annual external audit function, including preparing technical accounting memos and working papers to support complex transactions;
- Manage the stock-based compensation program for the Company, including tracking share-based awards and facilitating the exercise of share-based awards;
- Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and treasury, including semi-monthly payroll, accounts payable, journal entries, and month-end reconciliations;
- Prepare more complex journal entries;
- Manage the annual budgeting process and prepare forecasts;
- Coordinate with the Company’s transfer agent on share issuances, warrant exercises, and other equity-related matters;




- Support the adoption of AI and automation within the organization to optimize workflow and reduce manual effort;
- Prepare periodic tax filings, including GST and NR4 returns, and respond to tax inquiries as needed;
- Support the preparation and review of governance documents, including quarterly Board packages, company policies, and maintaining minutes, agendas, and the Board calendar;
- Support regulatory reporting, including the Annual Information Form, Management Information Circular, and other filings;
- Support the maintenance and data integrity of the Company’s CRM;
- Support the asset management function, including tracking key obligations and coordinating recurring deliverables;
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
- Chartered Professional Account (CPA) designation with 3+ years of relevant professional experience;
- Experience within the core accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger management;
- The ideal candidate need not have experience in a specific industry, however experience in the clean technology, resources, manufacturing, or other capital-intensive sectors would be considered an asset;
- Experience working in a publicly traded company and with IFRS considered an asset;
- Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high attention to detail;
- A curiosity for emerging technologies including automation and AI tools, and how they can improve accuracy and speed;
- Experience with financial modeling and data interpretation an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities;
- Capable of working collaboratively with a small team in a fast‑paced growth setting, but is comfortable driving work to completion independently when required.
