Support First Nations with mining project initiatives as a Mining Analyst. Conduct research, deliver training, and facilitate negotiations while collaborating on information tools in a fully remote role.
This role involves analyzing mining projects, providing strategic advice to First Nations, and assisting with the preparation for negotiations. You'll participate in organizing events and collaborate with various stakeholders to foster inclusive dialogues about mining issues. Your contributions will aim to strengthen community capacities and support sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and analyze mining project information
• Provide strategic advice and recommendations
• Assist in preparing contracts and agreements
• Develop training and informational materials
• Organize virtual and in-person events
Requirements:
• University degree in geology or related field
• 3-5 years mining sector experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Excellent communication in French and English
• Experience with First Nations communities is an asset
