Become a key player in patient care as a Registered Nurse with oncology expertise. This temporary part-time role focuses on the implementation of care plans in an ambulatory setting.
In this position, you will utilize the nursing process for patients at the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Required qualifications include registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and completion of oncology nursing courses. You'll contribute to multidisciplinary care while maintaining patient records and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement care plans for oncology patients
• Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment




• Provide patient education and support
• Ensure adherence to safety and health standards
Requirements:
• Current CNO registration in valuable standing
• Completion of de Souza Institute Foundations in Oncology course
• Recent oncology nursing experience within 3 years
• BCLS certification is required
• Preferred BScN and relevant certifications in oncology nursing
