Position Summary

In this role, you will monitor a hot oil heater, manage off‑loading and loading of trucks at the plant, control tank temperatures using hot oil heaters, manufacture asphaltic products, perform preventive maintenance, and carry out other general duties at the McAsphalt Clairmont Terminal. You will follow all standard operating procedures and policies established by the McAsphalt Operations department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Power Engineer education with a valid 4th class steam ticket
- Previous experience with high‑pressure boilers is a strong asset
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in small team(s)
- Reliable transportation to and from work in a timely manner
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, being responsible, resourceful and autonomous
- Ability to work outdoors,



at height and in all environments
- Experience with pumps, piping, heat tracing, hot oil heaters will be considered an asset
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications in English with a robust interpersonal attitude
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate level with strong organizational skills
- A good sense of humor will also be a great asset
