Senior Water/Wastewater Process Engineer / Project Manager – Winnipeg, MB (remote applicants considered)

Join our growing Water and Wastewater team as a trusted design resource and project leader on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects that shape communities across Canada.

Your Impact

- Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring quality and client satisfaction.
- Deliver innovative designs for municipal water and wastewater systems, including process flow diagrams, P&IDs;, and detailed engineering specifications.
- Lead feasibility studies, options evaluations, and economic assessments of treatment technologies to guide critical decisions.
- Oversee procurement and tendering of major process equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive project financials, schedules, and deliverables while mentoring junior and intermediate engineers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute scopes of work and manage subcontractors effectively.
- Champion health and safety, quality management, and regulatory compliance throughout project life cycles.

The Skills That Set You Apart

- 10+ years of technical expertise in water/wastewater treatment design and project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering; Master’s degree is an asset.




- Professional Engineer designation or eligibility with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM).
- Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage complex, multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Experience in business development and client relationship building.
- Robust knowledge of permitting processes, contract administration, and commissioning practices.
- Valid driver’s licence and readiness to travel as needed.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $114,600 – $151,800
MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $103,500 – $137,400
