Private Nurse (RN)

Pay: $44.00–$52.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Contract

Job Summary

We are hiring a Private Nurse (RN) to provide one-to-one nursing support for clients. This role is focused on private care in home and community settings and is ideal for a nurse who values autonomy, solid clinical judgment, and high-quality client-centred care.

You will work directly with clients and families to deliver safe, professional nursing support tailored to individual needs. Assignments may include ongoing care, short-term support, post-hospital care, and wellness-focused nursing visits.

Responsibilities

- Provide private-duty nursing care in home and community settings
- Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments within scope
- Support care planning and communicate clearly with clients, families, and care teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Provide education and guidance to clients and family members
- Follow professional, privacy,



and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

- Current Nursingregistration as a Registered Nurse
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Experience in home care, community care, private duty, medical-surgical, rehab, palliative, or complex care is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are an asset depending on assignment
- Clear criminal record check
- Ability to work independently and manage visits professionally
