We are looking foraStaff Accountant – Assurance, Compilation, Tax (ACTPath) —a role where yourexpertisewill drive meaningful outcomes and your ambition will help shape what comes next. Your role:

Plan and execute entry to intermediate levelcompilation and review engagements, with exposure to assurance engagements as assigned, ensuring qualified standards, quality, and deadlines are met

Prepareyear-endfinancial statements and related working papers for owner managed businesses across various industries

Prepare entry to intermediate levelpersonal income tax returns (T1s)and related schedules, including analysis of common tax issues

Completemonthly and quarterly bookkeeping engagements, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, payrollcalculationsand remittances, and annual T4 reporting

Assistwith the preparation ofcorporate income tax returns (T2s), HST filings, and other applicable tax filings under supervision

Communicate with clients in a professional andtimelymanner, responding to inquiries and proactivelyidentifyingand resolving issues

Manage assignedengagement timelines, budgets, billing, and work in progressunder the guidance of senior team members

Collaborate with team members to support engagement delivery and contribute toefficient internal processes and workflow improvements

Work effectively undertight deadlines, particularly during busy season, while deliveringaccurate,high-qualitywork





Perform other related duties as assigned

What you bring to the table:

Academic achievement – completed or near completion of an undergraduate degree and CPA pre-requisite courses

Plans to pursue a CPA designation

Excellent interpersonal relations anddemonstratedability to work with others effectively in teams

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Monday to Friday – Hybrid

Salary range :

$48,000 - $59,000 per annum.
