About the Chance

We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive to drive sales of our geotechnical software solutions in the USCAN region. Based in Toronto and reporting to the USCAN Sales Manager, you will focus on generating new business, building strategic relationships, and ensuring customer success. This role is ideal for a results‑driven professional with a passion for closing complex B2B deals in the geotechnical, mining, or civil engineering sectors. This position involves working in the office four days per week to support collaboration with the team.

This is a vacant rolewithexpectedtotalcompensationof$90,000 - $110,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales of geotechnical software and services across targeted regions and verticals, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Actively prospect new clients while managing inbound leads to build a robust pipeline.
- Represent Rocscience at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand relationships with enterprise accounts, engineering firms, and government agencies.
- Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipeline,



forecast revenue, and report performance metrics to leadership.
- Stay informed on geotechnical engineering trends and client needs to deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide client feedback and shape future SaaS offerings.

What We’re Looking For

- 5–10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of closing complex deals.
- Knowledge of geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, construction tech, GIS, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Rocscience products, such as Slide2 and RS2, is a plus.
- Experience selling to technical buyers (engineers, project managers, procurement teams).
- Proficiency in modern sales tech stacks (CRM, analytics, outreach tools).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Ability to travel within the USCAN region for customer meetings, partner support, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience selling technical software in geospatial, mining, or construction environments.
- Established network in the geotechnical or engineering consulting space.
