We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to own and grow our organic social presence, with a explicit mandate: grow our reach and turn our channels into places cat people actually want to hang out. Reporting to the Head of Content Marketing, this role is responsible for translating strategy into execution. You’ll be hands‑on in planning, publishing, and optimizing content, while working closely with our content and community teams to keep our channels active, on‑brand, and culturally relevant. This is a mid‑level role with real ownership — ideal for someone who’s ready to fully run channels, develop strong instincts around short‑form video, and grow into a long‑term social lead. Responsibilities Own Tuft & Paw’s organic presence on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with a focus on growing reach and video views. Support TikTok Shop as needed (creator sample approvals, light creator communication, content coordination). Help launch new or emerging channels over time (e.G. Pinterest, LinkedIn). Ensure all content reflects Tuft & Paw’s brand voice, visual standards, and POV. Content Creation & Publishing Plan and publish organic social content, with flexibility to collaborate with contractors when needed. Execute short‑form, video‑first content designed to perform natively on each platform. Manage social content calendars and ensure consistent publishing across channels. Optimize posts based on platform best practices, trends, and performance insights. Partner closely with the Head of Content Marketing on social strategy, content direction, and experimentation. Submit content requests and briefs to the Content Operations Lead and Graphic Designer to support execution. Work alongside the Digital Community Manager to stay informed on comments, DMs,



and audience sentiment, and help foster an engaged community (without owning day‑to‑day replies). Performance & Iteration Track and report on key metrics, including video views, engagement, and organic traffic from social to site. Identify patterns in what’s working (and what’s not) and iterate accordingly. Proactively look for opportunities to broaden skill sets, test new formats, and refine how we show up across platforms. Stay current on platform updates, trends, and emerging formats — and thoughtfully test what makes sense for our brand. Requirements 3‑5 years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally within consumer, lifestyle, or DTC. Hands‑on experience publishing and optimizing content across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Strong understanding of short‑form video trends, formats, and best practices. Comfort taking ownership of day‑to‑day channel execution — from ideation and filming.> Experience working cross‑functionally with content, creative, and community teams. Ability to stay organized, manage calendars, and reliably follow through on timelines and deliverables. Comfort analyzing performance and using insights to improve output. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and respect for brand voice and visual standards. A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn as platforms and algorithms evolve.
