We are seeking an experienced family law practitioner to join us in an Of Counsel capacity. This role is designed for a senior lawyer who wants to remain engaged in the profession in a meaningful way — offering guidance, insight, and mentorship — without the demands of a full caseload or business development expectations.

What You’ll Do

- Act as a trusted advisor to lawyers on complex and high-conflict family law matters
- Provide practical, experience-based mentorship to junior and mid-level lawyers
- Offer strategic insight on litigation, negotiation, and dispute resolution approaches
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, including case discussions and team learning sessions
- Share guidance on areas such as parenting disputes, support,



and property division
- Optionally assist with developing internal resources, precedents, and best practices

What We’re Looking For

- 15+ years of family law experience in Ontario
- Strong interest in mentorship and professional development
- Deep understanding of family law procedure, litigation strategy, and client management
- Experience with both contested matters and negotiated resolutions
- Mediation, arbitration, or collaborative family law experience is considered an asset
- A collegial and approachable style, with a willingness to support a team environment

This is a flexible, part-time or advisory-based role , structured around your availability and preferences.

- No billable hour requirements

- Compensation commensurate with experience
