Drive data-driven fraud risk strategies as a Payments Fraud Analyst. Engage in hands-on fraud investigations while collaborating with teams to enhance the customer experience.
This role is focused on shaping and implementing risk strategies that minimize losses and promote sustainable growth. You'll analyze data, identify trends in fraudulent activity, and create comprehensive reports. Collaborating with product managers and engineers, you will design and implement effective fraud prevention solutions while acting as a liaison with payment processors for smooth communication and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute end-to-end financial risk strategies
• Monitor and investigate suspicious activities and trends
• Create authoritative reports on fraud and chargeback data




• Collaborate with engineering to deploy prevention solutions
• Liaise with payment vendors for effective risk management
Requirements:
• 5+ years of qualified experience, including 3 in fraud
• 1 year of direct experience in payments environment
• Strong data modeling skills with 3+ years’ capacity
• Proven track record of investigating fraud cases
• SQL expertise is essential; Python knowledge is a plus
