As a Withdrawal Management Support Worker, you will support participants through various stages of withdrawal and harm reduction practices. Responsibilities include managing program intakes, working with community organizations, and assisting with essential file management tasks. Your proven interpersonal skills will shine in one-on-one and group contexts during this dynamically engaging role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support intake processes for program participants
• Organize and manage both digital and manual files
• Communicate effectively with participants and families
• Enhance referrals to external services
• Facilitate group and individual interactions
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary diploma in social services or related
• Experience in mental health and addictions is advantageous
• Hold a valid Ontario driver’s license, reliable vehicle required
• Must be available for weekend and 12-hour shifts
• Background in Withdrawal Management is preferred
