What you’ll do

- Manage preparation, filing, and reporting of direct and indirect taxes and multinational tax disclosures to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax positions and integrate tax considerations into business decisions
- Implement enhancements to tax technology
- Conduct tax research and maintain thorough documentation of tax issues and compliance positions
- Mentor existing tax team, manage communications with stakeholders
- Handle day to day tax inquiries, disputes, and audits

What you have

- Minimum 7 years’ experience with at least 5 years exposure to International Taxation is required.
- CPA designation, with completion of In-Depth Income Tax courses (or Masters degree in Taxation).




- Experience in a role with substantial Canadian and US Tax exposure and proficiency in tax provision and tax compliance working paper modelling.
- Extensive knowledge of global tax issues pertaining to large multinational companies and IFRS tax accounting standards.

The typical hiring range for this position is $116,000 - $160,000 annually complemented by a bonus plan; the base pay is determined by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
