Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Payments, Market OperationsLocation: Toronto, ON(Hybrid)Employment Type: Contract Rate: CAD55-CAD65/hrJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong Payments and Market Operations expertise to support critical payment initiatives. The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of payment rails, strong documentation and analysis skills, and experience working closely with technology and operations teams to deliver high quality solutions in an Agile workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Payments and Market Operations initiativesGather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for payment-related systemsWork across multiple payment rails, including Wires (SWIFT), Visa, Interac, and other payment networksDevelop and maintain: System Context DiagramsProcess Flow / Sequence DiagramsUse Case Diagrams and detailed documentationSupport end to end project delivery using Agile / PDLC methodologiesCollaborate with technology, operations, compliance, and business stakeholdersManage requirements, stories, and tasks using JIRAMaintain project and requirement documentation in ConfluencePrepare analysis, presentations,



and reports using MS OfficeCreate process and system diagrams using MS VisioParticipate in UAT support, issue triage, and post implementation reviewsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong Payments domain knowledge, including: SWIFT wiresCard and real time payment rails (Visa, Interac, etc.)Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standardsProven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services or bankingStrong experience creating functional and technical documentationHands on experience with Agile delivery modelsProficiency with: JIRA & ConfluenceMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)MS VisioExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skillsNice to Have / Preferred SkillsExperience with AML, Regulatory, or Compliance domains including: SanctionsFraudFinancial crime controlsExperience working with APIs and Microservices, including: Understanding API specificationsInitiating and validating REST API requestsInterpreting API responsesFamiliarity with JSON syntaxHands on experience using tools like PostmanEducationBachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
