Become a summer volunteer for teens with intellectual disabilities aged 15-24. Help create memorable experiences through recreational activities in July and August 2026.
This community-driven program seeks dedicated volunteers to assist youth as they engage in various fun and educational activities. The role involves working under the supervision of Community Living Mississauga employees and requires a commitment of at least one week. Candidates should bring a genuine passion for inclusion and strong active listening skills to support the participants effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate full participation in activities
• Collaborate effectively with staff and team members




• Maintain a minimum of one week’s volunteer service
• Attend required training sessions
• Complete a virtual interview as part of the application
Requirements:
• Minimum 15 years old, with Grade 10 completion
• Robust desire to support youth inclusion
• Good communication and listening ability
• Must provide three references
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check if over 18
