Graphic Designer

This exciting role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic, creative and focused team to highlight and build the Nature's Fare Markets brand! This is a full time temporary contract position for 12 months starting mid/late April 2026.

This is also a rare opportunity to bring your graphic design experience to work in beautiful Vernon, BC, where our head office and creative team are located. This position is an in-person role that requires attending our office in Vernon so candidates must be located within daily driving distance of Vernon.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

- Ideate and execute impactful, on-brand design for campaigns and initiatives across channels, including in-store, web, email, social, and internal communications.
- Translate campaign concepts into channel-specific layouts , optimizing for format, placement, motion, and performance without losing the conceptual idea.
- Execute on-brand creative that ensures consistency and effective messaging hierarchy.
- Develop production-ready artwork that spans both print and digital mediums.
- Capturing and creating photo and video assets for social media.
- Partner closely with the marketing team and cross‑functional teams to build relationships and develop integrated campaigns that support our business goals.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external collaborators, overseeing everything from prepress preparation to large‑format production pieces.
- Take feedback with openness and professionalism, adapting quickly and translating input into thoughtful iterations.
- Manage and prioritize multiple design projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met in a fun,



yet fast‑paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree or diploma in graphic design or design‑related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in an agency or in‑house creative department
- A well‑rounded portfolio demonstrating expertise across both print and digital media —including large‑format signage, marketing campaigns, and digital content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere) is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of prepress and print production processes.
- Extensive knowledge and experience creating content for social media
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey design concepts to both creative and non‑creative stakeholders.
