Under general supervision, you will conduct specimen collection from patients in various settings, including pre-surgical and behavioral health contexts. You'll handle clerical tasks, ECGs, and data management within hospital systems, contributing to overall laboratory functions. Your ability to empathize with patients in diverse scenarios will be essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct venipuncture and capillary puncture collections
• Complete ECG tracings and TB skin inoculations
• Transport and process biological specimens accurately
• Operate hospital/laboratory information technology systems
• Serve as a courier when necessary
Requirements:
• Valid CA Phlebotomy License required
• Current CA Driver's License needed
• Six months clinical lab training or equivalent experience
• Solid numerical accuracy skills
• Intermediate computer proficiency necessary
