As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will be integral to the care team, working under the supervision of a physiotherapist. Your duties will focus on delivering effective treatments while ensuring a clean and secure treatment environment. Regular updates to the physiotherapist about resident status will play an important role in optimizing care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in executing tailored treatment plans for residents
• Implement prescribed therapies and assist with exercises
• Lead safe and beneficial exercise classes




• Prepare equipment and ensure treatment areas are tidy
• Record treatment outcomes daily using a web-based system
Requirements:
• PTA/OTA diploma or a degree in Kinesiology
• Experience in long-term care is desirable
• Standard First Aid & CPR Certification necessary
• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check within 6 months
• Tuberculin clearance proof required
