The Opportunity
We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a production team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of production operations, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. This is a hands‑on leadership role.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and direct production employees
- Enforce operational procedures and processes, covering safety, quality, yield, GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards
- Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and provide coaching and discipline
- Coordinate and execute production plan in alignment with stakeholders, including staffing requirements
- Liaise with cross‑functional departments to ensure plant expectations are met
- Verify employee records related to H&S;, production, and timesheets
- Support continuous improvement by assisting in the development and maintenance of departmental policies, processes, and SOPs
- Actively participate in audits and lead root‑cause investigations and corrective actions
What You Bring
Proven supervisory experience in a unionized food manufacturing or processing environment
- 1 year of Supervisory or 2+ years of Leadhand experience in food manufacturing
- Strong people leadership skills
- Experience managing production scheduling and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume plant environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
