This position offers a temporary, full‑time opportunity to lead classroom, shop, and laboratory instruction. Engage in instructional counseling, prepare and evaluate students, and contribute to curriculum enhancement. A vibrant approach to teaching and a willingness to learn new practices in the Sheet Metal Trade are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction to students
• Supervise shop and laboratory learning activities
• Counsel and evaluate student performance
• Maintain curriculum and suggest program improvements
• Prepare and present engaging lectures and demonstrations
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification in Sheet Metal Trade
• Five years of journeyperson experience required
• Previous teaching or supervisory experience preferred
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Familiarity with CNC/Plasma equipment is a plus
