Vice President - Field OperationsYour main responsibilitiesThe Vice President - Field Operations will direct and coordinate the branches in accordance with the strategies and policies of Schindler, manage the resources and ensure customer satisfaction, employee motivation, market share and profitability. The VP - Field Operations implements all processes, tools, targets and actions in the branches and supports the Executive Management Committee in the definition of the above mentioned targets. It is Schindler Canada's decision to assign the lead of Customer contact to either Key Account Management or Field Operations Management.Responsibilities:Prepare the Rough Plan and Budgets for all Branch Regional operations in line with policy.Analyze, plan, evaluate and optimize the use of existing Branch resources to achieve market share, profitability and net working capital, customer satisfaction and employee motivation targets.Partnership with VP Field Support and Field Operations to achieve targets in market share, pricing, productivity and efficiency.Partnership with VP Field Support and Field Operations to execute installation & maintenance with an efficiency that ensures the targets of the products and services in terms of quality, reliability and cost of material and installation (pre-calculation).Facilitate and ensure the implementation of all Norms and Procedures inside Branches.Initiate, lead and implement the Strategic Plans in Regions and Branches.Evaluate the results of all operations.Coordinate operations in the joint scope of current installations, existing installations,



pursuit of action plans, projects, internal and external benchmarking, implementation of best practices and market studies.Coordinate all activities to deliver customer satisfaction.Coordinate and implement all quality, safety and security requirements according to the appropriate laws and Schindler policies.Coordinate customer allocation where Schindler provides dual/multiple brands.Partnership with NI and EI/MOD Marketing & Sales Management in the definition and follow-up of the sales force dimension in each branch.What you bringBachelor Degree – preferably degree in Engineering, Business or Finance10-15 years in elevator industry or related experience, or a similar industry which includes the sales and servicing of capital equipment, with at least 6-8 of those years is a senior supervisory or management positionCritical SkillsProficient in MS OfficeAnalytical: ability to think conceptually to have impact, ability to understand complex tasks/situations/problems, analyze them using a systematic approach and identify trends or relationshipsCoaching and Mentoring: ability to motivate and guide team membersCommunication:



Ability to articulate vision and communicate strategy across all levels of the organizationLeadership: Ability to lead by providing clear expectations and standards, delegating responsibilities and holding employees accountable, recognizing employee achievements and addressing performance gaps and fostering team commitmentPeople Management: Ability to select, train, supervise and evaluate staffPersuasion: Persuasion is required both internally and externally.
