Role Overview
As our Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple departments. You’ll be responsible for managing vendor invoices, verifying payment accuracy, and maintaining organized financial records.
Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and staff reimbursements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs via banking platforms and payment processors.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Track and organize invoices, purchase orders, and payment confirmations.
- Support month-end closing and assist with financial reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR) to ensure timely approvals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting .
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite ) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication skills — written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working in online social gaming, entertainment, or tech startups .
- Familiarity with multi-currency transactions or international vendors.
- Exposure to U.S. corporate finance operations or EOR payroll platforms.
