Overview

Senior Accountant in Toronto downtown. Regular - Full time. Title: CPA, CPA Auditor or CPA in progress. Experience in an accounting firm. Salary: 90K-100K + 10% bonus.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of financial statements for private Canadian companies
- Preparation and filing of tax: T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, T5013, T3010, and T1135
- Preparation and filing of T4 summaries and supplementary slips
- Coordination of tax estimates, installments, and remittances with tax authorities
- Collaboration with U.S. tax advisors for cross-border tax compliance
- Preparation of net worth reports
- Financial analysis and variance reporting in support of internal teams
- Providing financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

- CPA designation or CPA in progress
- 3 years minimum experience
- Accounting firm experience (an asset)
- Tax Prep, Caseware, QuickBooks, Quicken and Write-up
- English advanced
- Eligible to work in Canada
