This part time position involves developing unique nutrition care plans within 30 days of admission and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal meal service. Your expertise in geriatric nutrition and effective communication will contribute to a supportive living environment for seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement nutrition care plans
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary meetings and audits
• Adjust care plans based on residents' evolving needs
• Ensure meal quality aligns with Canada’s Food Guide
• Train staff on nutrition and food safety
Requirements:
• Member of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia
• Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition required
• Clinical experience with geriatric population preferred
• Exceptional communication and relationship skills
• Familiarity with basic computer applications
