We have partnered with a well-established and growing Canadian organization in the promotional products and branded merchandise space, is looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their finance team. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role ideal for someone who enjoys owning the details while also contributing to broader accounting operations and projects. What you’ll be doing
- Full‑cycle customer invoicing and billing accuracy
- Overseas vendor vouching and payable processing
- Intercompany transactions (invoicing + reconciliations)
- Month‑end support, including commission calculations
- Managing deposits and cash applications
- Reviewing open orders and discrepancies
- Supporting HST and U.S. sales tax filings
- Assisting with quarterly royalty reporting
- Cross‑training and backup support across A/R and A/P
- Participating in ad hoc projects and process improvements
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Diploma or degree in Accounting / Finance
- Robust understanding of A/P, A/R, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Experience in a product‑based, distribution, or multi‑entity environment is a strong asset
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, operational finance environment
