Must-Haves:

- 5+ yrs software engineering; strong Python (APIs, backends, pipelines)
- 3+ yrs AI feature development; 1+ yr with LLMs in production
- Prompt engineering, RAG, vector DBs, LangChain/LangGraph
- Client-facing communication; can explain tech to non-tech stakeholders
- Self-directed, handles ambiguity, works across time zones
- Uses AI coding tools daily (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.)

Nice to Have:

- Agentic AI / autonomous systems
- CI/CD, Airflow, Jenkins
- Consulting/enterprise background
- NLP beyond LLMs; log analysis & observability
- Experience mentoring engineers
