About us
Planworth makes it possible for advisors to deliver tailored financial, tax and estate planning guidance to more clients across a broader spectrum of wealth than ever before.
Planworth is a B2B SaaS platform transforming the wealth planning experience and democratizing access to the best planning insights. Our Platform puts a virtual family office in the hands of every advisor so they can seamlessly and cost-effectively move up and down the wealth-complexity curve and provide every client (regardless of net worth) with the same service typically reserved for high-net-worth clientele.
Our mission is to help firms and advisors throughout Canada and across industries (investment advisory, wealth planning, insurance, law, accounting, pension plans, etc.) drive high value client interactions through pointed and ongoing wealth planning guidance.
Planworth has been recognized as a Rising Star by Advocis and as one of Canada’s Best Wealth Tech Providers by Wealth Professional.
About the role
This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, client support, and product development.
As an Associate, Wealth Planning Support, you will work directly with financial advisors using Planworth. Their questions often require an understanding of financial planning concepts, not just the software. You will investigate issues, think through scenarios, and provide clear, structured responses.
This is a fully remote role. You'll be expected to take ownership of problems, navigate ambiguity independently,
and collaborate with our product and engineering teams when needed. Candidates must reside in Canada.
What you’ll do
- Respond to advisor questions via chat and occasional video calls
- Investigate and resolve complex or unclear client scenarios
- Collaborate with product and engineering to diagnose issues and improve the platform
- Participate in sprint planning and contribute user-driven feedback
- Maintain and improve internal and client-facing knowledge base content
- Support client experience and product initiatives through ad hoc projects
Who you are
- Genuinely interested in personal financial/retirement planning, demonstrated through work experience, education, or independent projects
- A clear, structured communicator — in writing and conversation
- Self-directed and comfortable owning your work in a remote environment
- A robust problem-solver who can figure things out with limited guidance
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to learn quickly
Nice to have
- Background in finance, financial planning, or a related field
- Familiarity with personal finance concepts (RRSPs, TFSAs, etc.)
- Experience in a client-facing or analytical role
- French proficiency
- Experience with Intercom, Slack and/or Jira
Why join us
If you're eager to build practical skills across financial planning, client experience, and product development - while working closely with advisors and an engaged engineering team - we'd love to hear from you.
Join us in reshaping the future of financial planning.
