*Senior Guidewire Developer – ClaimCenter (Contract)
Location: Canada | Hybrid (3 days onsite – Downtown Toronto)
Duration: 6mo (solid probability of extension)
Hrs/week: 40
Rate: depends on expertise level (ideally between 85-100/hr)
Main Deliverables
- Build, enhance, and maintain Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions for a large enterprise insurance platform
- Deliver scalable, high‑performance ClaimCenter configurations and integrations
- Support production stability, upgrades, and ongoing platform enhancements
Technical Stack
- Guidewire ClaimCenter
- Experience with Claim Center integration
- Gosu, Guidewire Studio
- ClaimCenter data model, business rules, workflows
- Guidewire Cloud
- REST & SOAP web services, XML
- Integration patterns & messaging
- CI/CD pipelines, Git (nice to have)
- Java (nice to have)
Requirements
- (!!!) Minimum 8 years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience
- Strong expertise in ClaimCenter configuration and customization
- Solid experience building and supporting integrations (REST/SOAP,
XML)
- Proficiency with Gosu and Guidewire Studio
- Experience working across full SDLC in Agile environments
- Claims insurance domain experience preferred
- Guidewire ClaimCenter certification is an asset
- Experience in large enterprise environments
Responsibilities
- Design and implement custom ClaimCenter solutions aligned with business requirements
- Configure ClaimCenter components including business rules, workflows, and data model extensions
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal and external systems
- Perform code reviews and enforce Guidewire development best practices
- Diagnose and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
- Support CI/CD processes and version control where applicable
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers
