Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for an Intermediate Product Owner to delivery enhancements to their Promotions & Pricing (Retail/E-Commerce) product(s).
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Location: 4 days/week onsite (Brampton)
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and define business requirements; translate them into actionable user stories and technical deliverables.
- Prioritize backlog and manage sprint planning within a 2-week Agile cycle.
- Collaborate closely with VPs, data engineering, and technology teams to align on priorities and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain roadmaps, ensuring stakeholder alignment and transparency.
- Bridge the gap between technical and business teams, facilitating communication and decision-making.
- Create and present SteerCo decks, drive key business decisions,
and navigate complex corporate landscapes.
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to change management efforts.
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in retail or e-commerce environments.
- Robust background in Agile methodologies; backlog grooming, sprint-based delivery, process optimization, etc.
- Proven ability to develop/deliver product roadmaps and lead discussions with senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Management & Requirements Elicitation
- Experience preparing SteerCo materials.
