Empower families as a dedicated Parent Support Worker.

Utilize organizational skills and a nurturing approach to enhance health outcomes for pregnant women and families with infants while providing community resource connections.

As a Parent Support Worker, you'll play a crucial role in the Maternal Child Health Program.

You will support families with children aged 0-6 years, offering in-home assistance and fostering healthy child development.

Collaboration with health professionals is essential to advocate and deliver impactful programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide in-home support for families with young children
• Teach health promotion topics in individual and group settings
• Assist Community Health Nurses with programs and services




• Advocate and act as a liaison for families
• Plan community workshops and education events

Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Certificate or equivalent experience
• Certified First Aid, CPR, and Secure Food Handling Certifications
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Experience with First Nations Communities is a plus
