Daiken North America LTD is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Technologistto work at our Huntsville, ON facility.We are seeking a skilled Electrical/Electronic Technologist to join our dynamic team in the wood industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing programmable logic controller (PLC) programs to enhance the functionality and ensuring that our machinery operates at peak performance. You will also participate in the design and implementation of control systems and instrumentation, including hardware and specialized software integration, as well as contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.In addition to hands-on technical work, you will also be responsible for conducting tests and evaluations of electrical/electronic components, as well as maintaining detailed documentation of projects and system configurations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be adept at problem-solving, and have a solid understanding of electrical principles and practices.You will work closely with electricians and other technologists to ensure that our electrical systems are efficient, reliable, and meet all necessary standards and specifications.
