Sahtu Secretariat Incorporated (SSI) is seeking a Community Liaison Advisor to represent Sahtu beneficiary interests in the Mackenzie Valley Highway Project, supporting engagement in planning, construction, and operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Represent SSI in meetings and working groups.

Advocate for Sahtu priorities.

Build relationships with partners and communities.

Conduct research and provide analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with Indigenous governments or communities.

Strong communication and relationship skills.

Knowledge of land use or environmental processes in Canada.

Robust analytical skills.

Familiarity with the Sahtu Region is an asset.

Willingness to travel.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree in environmental science, natural resource management, Indigenous studies, or related field.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
