About Eli Camps:

Eli Camps is dedicated to building and delivering high quality programs and camps for children and teenagers from around the world in the city of Toronto. The program is focused on language courses, cultural trips and visits to attractions. . Students welcomed to our programs as young as 7 years old and as old as 17. Kids program is build having in mind students ages 7-12 and Teen program is build having in mind students ages 13-17. The programs we offer are all inclusive in nature and we take care of the students from the moment they land at the airport to the moment they leave the city.

Position Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic, confident, and reliable Activity Leaders to join our evening and weekend team! You’ll be leading exciting on-campus activities and off-campus excursions, creating a warm and inclusive environment for international campers, and helping students build friendships and lasting memories.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute scheduled evening activities such as sports tournaments, talent shows, scavenger hunts, game nights, dance parties, and arts & crafts
- Supervise and lead evening and weekend excursions to Toronto attractions (e.g., Harbourfront, beaches, and cultural festivals)
- Actively engage with students and foster a welcoming, inclusive workplace
- Maintain safety protocols and manage student behavior with positivity and professionalism




- Serve as a role model and encourage participation from students of all backgrounds
- Communicate clearly with campers, many of whom are beginner English speakers
- Collaborate with staff and adapt quickly to schedule or weather changes
- Help transition students between evening activities, meals, and dormitories

What Makes a Great Activity Leader:

- Energetic, confident, and enjoys leading youth activities
- Inclusive and culturally sensitive; able to make every student feel welcome
- Strong group management and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, flexible, and a team player
- Comfortable leading both structured and informal programs for ages 8–17

Qualifications:

- Experience working with youth (e.g., in camps, schools, recreation, or childcare)
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification (or willing to obtain)
- Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) clearance required
- Background in education, recreation, arts, or leadership an asset
- Multilingual skills or international experience a plus

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
