About The Role
The role of Licensing Royalty Collections Intern on the Royalty Collections team is responsible for contributing to SOCAN’s revenue accuracy and licensing growth by assisting with licensee report entry, payment application, and outbound communications.
What You’ll Do / Key Responsibilities

- Licensee report entry and payment application
- Preparing communications to licensees
- Identifying potential new licensees
- Qualifying potential new licensees
- Analyzing reports and entering adjustments
- Other duties as required

What You Will Bring / Qualifications & Experience

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.

- Available to work 35 hours a week, May through August.

- Ability to manage workload effectively including planning, organizing, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.

- Robust communication (both written and verbal) skills.

- Dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated.

- Data entry experience, attention to detail




- Finance/accounting background
