Note: This is a full-time 12-month contract position directly reporting to the Director of Human Resources & Culture; pay rate as agreed, based on experience, expertise, and applicable education.
This is a remote position, however candidates must reside within a two-hour commute of one of our Teen Challenge Canada Centres.
COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, in-residence drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, for adults 18 and older.
We currently have 8 centres located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan and Ontario that are able to serve up to 197 people who are struggling with substance addiction.
We demonstrate God’s love by helping individuals become free from substance addiction and equipping them to live full and meaningful lives.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Our team is looking for a full-time Senior Human Resources Associate with three years’ experience to fulfill a 12-month contract.
The primary responsibility of the Manager of Human Resources & Systems is to oversee existing processes to ensure their efficiency, while assisting with meeting the daily demands of the Human Resources department.
The incumbent is responsible for implementing of human resources policies and practises that are compassionate and efficient, co-managing employee relations matters with confidentiality and grace, providing administrative support to the Human Resources department aiding in the success of the organization’s strategic plan by assisting with employee retention strategies, and overseeing adherence to legislative health and safety practices and procedures.
